Discover extreme sensations in a sumptuous setting during an introductory canyoning course at the 7 Tamarin waterfalls in Mauritius... an experience as exotic as it is fantastic, as the sublime setting of the Tamarin waterfalls will take your breath away!

Would you like to experience a real adventure during your stay in Mauritius? With an introductory canyoning course, accessible to everyone, discover the many and varied sensations of this discipline during a half-day spent on one of the most beautiful sites in Mauritius: the Tamarin Falls and its 7 waterfalls.

For your first canyoning experience, you'll be accompanied by a qualified instructor throughout this half-day adventure. The programme for this canyoning trip includes a spectacular abseil down a 40-metre waterfall. Once at the foot of the waterfall, you'll sneak under the ‘shower’: an aesthetic passage beneath the waterfall, secured by a rope. Then, as a reward, you'll swim across a pool around fifty metres in diameter for a refreshing moment!

For the rest of the canyoning experience at the 7 cascades de Tamarin on Mauritius, you'll face another abseil... this time, your obstacle will be the descent of a 12-metre waterfall, followed by a short swim. Finally, to get over the last waterfall of around 20 metres, adults will have the chance to make a jump 6 metres high, after a descent on a rope.

Remember: jumps are never compulsory, so you can abseil down if you prefer.

To round off your introduction to canyoning at the 7 waterfalls of Tamarin on Mauritius, your guide will take you to the highest point of a 55-metre waterfall, from where you'll have a breathtaking view of the entire gorge.

Whether you're a holidaymaker or a local looking for a new adventure, the introduction to canyoning at the 7 Cascades de Tamarin is just as suitable for absolute beginners as it is for those with some canyoning experience... during this 2? hour trip, don't forget to look around you and make the most of Mauritius's typical, sumptuous landscapes!

What an incredible experience! Canyoning at the 7 Waterfalls of Tamarin was one of the absolute highlights of our trip to Mauritius. The entire adventure was packed with adrenaline—from rappelling down waterfalls to sliding through natural rock chutes and jumping into crystal-clear pools, it was pure excitement from start to finish!

We've had an amazing experience with Ossman and Christian. They've been very patient with us but friendly and professional at the same time. The waterfalls are amazing, as well as the landscape. It was raining when we've done it, but we felt all one with nature. There's a steep uphill when returning to the starting place, which would leave you breathless, but it's worth the experience!

We had a great time abseiling, swimming, and cliff jumping. The waterfalls are beautiful. The guides were very nice and professional. The free photos are also a definite plus.
