Discover scuba diving in Mayotte during your first dive of around 30 minutes with your dedicated instructor. Allow 4 hours in total for this activity.
- Maximum depth: 6m.
- 1 instructor per participant during the dive.
- Warm water (between 24°C and 28°C depending on the season) with a variety of wildlife.
Course of events
Please allow around 4 hours in total for this activity.
- A car is essential to get to the meeting point (no public transport). A shuttle service is available.
- Welcome to the centre.
- Presentation of the centre and equipment for participants.
- First briefing: equipment, safety rules, communication.
- Departure by boat (30 to 40 min after reception).
- Navigation: about 15 minutes.
- Immersion: approximately 30 minutes.
- Wait on board while the other divers ascend (tea and cakes).
- Navigation back to the centre.
- De-equipping and debriefing at the club.
Activity requirements
Minors must be accompanied by an adult or present written parental permission to take part in this activity.
You need to be in good physical condition to take part in this activity.
A medical certificate is not compulsory, but any contraindication to diving (ENT, respiratory or cardiac problems or pregnancy) must be notified before the activity.
Participants must follow the instructor's instructions, safety rules and procedures explained during the briefing. For safety reasons, the dive may be cancelled or postponed depending on weather or sea conditions.
A minimum of 2 participants is required for the activity to take place.
