Embark upon an unforgettable adventure in the heart of Oslo via the Akerselva River on this 1.5-hour kayaking tour! All levels of experience are welcome.

The Akerselva River is a prominent river in Norway's capital city of Oslo. It flows southward for approximately 8.2 kilometres (5.1 miles) through the city before emptying into the Oslofjord. The river has played a significant role in the history, culture, and development of the city, and it is lined with green spaces as well as former industrial buildings that have been repurposed into cultural centres or cafes. Kayaking on the Akerselva River is the perfect blend of sightseeing, physical activity, and immersion in nature!

After meeting your certified and experienced instructor at the departure point in Nedre Foss Park, you will receive the equipment including a helmet, a life jacket, a paddle, and a kayak. In addition, you are welcome to safely stow your belongings in the company vehicle while you're paddling.

Your instructor will provide a safety briefing as well as an introduction to kayaking and paddling techniques. Once everyone in your group (a maximum of 20 participants) is comfortable, the adventure begins! In the company of your instructor, you'll paddle with confidence down the Akerselva River through the lush Grünerløkka district, under historic bridges, and navigate the 500-metre-long (1,640 feet) tunnel underneath the centre of Oslo.

Your Akerselva River kayaking tour continues by the Munch Museum before passing into the scenic Oslofjord, where you'll see the Oslo Opera House from your kayak! The excursion finishes at Sukkerbiten in Bjørvika, where the company vehicle will be waiting with your belongings.

Discover Oslo from a unique perspective, on the water! Don't miss this fun-filled, 1.5-hour kayaking tour on the Akerselva River and book your next adventure in Norway today!
