Enjoy an amazing dog sledding adventure in Tromso. No previous experience needed, bring the whole family and explore the beautiful landscapes of North Norway!

Morning dog sledding ride: Kvaløya is one of Norway’s largest islands and benefits from great views of the mountains surrounding Tromsø towards the Balsfordand Malangenpeninsula.

Morning Program:

You'll enjoy 45 to 60 minutes of dogsledding as a passenger surrounded by great mountain views in Tromsø. This is an amazing way to explore the Norwegian tundra. With a 2:1 guest to guide ratio, the professional guides will be there for you every step of the way.

You will also have the chance to meet the 200 Alaskan Huskies and spend some time with the puppies. This will be followed by a served delicious Bidos, prepared with reindeer meat, broth, and veggies. It'll be served in the camp around the fire in a traditional "Gamme".

Afternoon Program:

In the afternoon, we offer a shorter 30-minute session on the dogsled. You will then get to meet the pups, and enjoy some tasty cakes and hot drinks back at the kennels. This option is perfect for those who wish to spend the rest of the evening having a nice dinner or searching for Northern Lights!

To be this close to nature, being able to experience it with the dogs is an unforgettable experience. You won't regret it!

Fantastic experiance meeting the beautiful dogs and being taken around the countryside by them. Everything was well organised and ran like clockwork. The staff were all brilliant and nothing was too much trouble and all questions were answered fully and informatively.

This event actually made our holiday, the sledding trip was really good. The dogs worked hard but enjoyed the work they were doing. They responded to Edith’s (our musher) commands and you could see that she loved them as much as they loved her. Our guide Juan, was the perfect host, explaining all the workings of the facility and introducing us to some of the dogs. Lunch was provided and it’s was very tasty. Would highly recommend the whole experience, you sled through some amazing scenery.

One Hour Husky sledding , it was incredible nice to be outside in snow by sunrise! The dogs, nature, our lunch also! Our guide was friendly and told us very interesting stories about Country and dogs!
