Multilingual Guided Northern Lights Tour by Minibus from Tromsø

Please allow between 5 and 7 hours for the whole experience.

• Meeting with the guide at the Northern Norway Travel meeting point at the Tromsø Havn bus terminal at least 15 minutes before the start of the activity (paid parking nearby, toilets available in the meeting building)
• Boarding the minibus
• Briefing on the activity and safety instructions
• Minibus journey to the Northern Lights observation site selected by the guide according to the forecast
• Once on site, fitting of thermal suits
• Preparation of the campfire by the guide and warm up with hot drinks and a light Norwegian dinner, including reindeer stew or vegetarian soup
• Observation of the starry sky and chat with the guide (local stories, information about the Northern Lights, etc.) while you wait for the Northern Lights to arrive
• If the sky becomes cloudy and conditions are no longer favourable for viewing the Northern Lights, you will set off again to find a new spot with a clear sky
• Once the Northern Lights have appeared, observation and photo session
• Return to Tromsø by minibus and end of the activity with a drop-off at your hotel if it is in the city centre

All minors must be accompanied by an adult.

Please bring a physical copy of your passport/identity card in case you need to cross the Finnish border during the activity.

A minimum number of 5 participants is required to run this activity.

Please arrive 15 minutes before the departure time.

Since the Northern Lights are an unpredictable natural phenomenon, their presence is never guaranteed.

Please list any dietary restrictions when booking.

Wheelchair users can join the tour only if they can get in and out of the minibus by themselves. The team can store the wheelchair in the back, but there is no ramp or lift.

Pets are not permitted to join in this activity.
