The Algarve is especially well known among surfing enthusiasts, as it is one of the best places in the world for surfing, followed only in Europe by Hossegor. So why not learn to surf on the best waves in the Algarve?
The Albufeira Surf & SUP school is located at Praia da Galé, just 15 minutes from Albufeira. There your instructor will challenge you to teach you the basics of surfing in 2 hours. A perfect surfing course for those who have never surfed before or who have an intermediate level. The class has a more theoretical part on the sand, where you will learn how to paddle, catch the waves and get on the board, and a more practical part in the water, time to demonstrate everything you have learnt and ride the waves of Albufeira.

Course of events
- Meeting with the instructors in Praia do Castelo.
- Distribution of the surfing equipment and time to put on the wetsuit.
- Walk to the beach, briefing of the activity and a short theoretical introduction to the basics of surfing.
- Practical surfing lesson in the water.
- Return to the surf school.
