Take your chance to experience the waves of the Atlantic off a breathtaking beach on these wonderful surf lessons in Praia Arrifana, along the Algarve coast! Praia Arrifana or Arrifana Beach is located in the Aljezur municipality. Known for its stunning beaches and close to restaurants, cultural hubs, and sunsets spots, this beautiful beach is perfect to spend a couple of hours learning how to surf the wonderful waves of the Atlantic.
Now, you'll have the chance to choose your lesson plan as you book this activity. You can take 2 or 3-hour classes for 1 to 5 days. These lessons are open to everyone, from the most inexperienced beginners to intermediate and advanced surfers. If you want expert guidance to start or continue your surfing journey, this is your best chance!
On the day of your surfing lessons in Praia Arrifana, you'll need to arrive at the beach at a time that your instructor will confirm before the experience. When you arrive, you'll receive a warm welcome and your high-quality equipment, including a board adapted to your level and a 4/3 mm wetsuit suited to local water temperatures in any size and for any gender. You'll be assessed for your surfing level, listen to a quick safety briefing, and learn the techniques you'll be practising throughout the lesson.
Once you're ready, you'll warm up and get into the water! You'll practice on the waves, closely monitored by your instructor. Midway through the experience, you'll take a break and receive personalised feedback to apply to the rest of your lesson. You'll then get back into the water and finish off the lesson with a cool-down. If you book the experience over several days, you'll follow this same itinerary. Keep in mind that accommodations are not included with the lessons you book.
