Canyoning is a fun experience for everyone, whether a beginner or a canyoning pro. Give it a try with your friends or family while in Porto and rest assure that you will fall in love with this activity!
There are two fantastic parks to go canyoning near Porto. The Peneda Gerês National Park or the Magic Mountains/Arouca GeoPark. Both of them are recognized as natural parks. The Magic mountains are more extreme but they offer great canyoning experiences as well with high abseils. In the end, what you will love are the rivers and refreshing waters.
For doing this canyoning activity in Peneda Geres Natural Park it doesn't matter if you're a beginner or have some experience. Canyoning can be practiced by anyone who can walk a mountain, jump into the water, and is able to withstand physical a 3-4 hours hike.
There are different types of zip lines, jumps into the water, water slides, and abseiling that can be adapted to your level. The guides have great experience and they are all specialized canyoning guides by the International Canyoning Commission. The guides will ensure your safety while having fun!
9:00 - Pick up at Accommodation or Oporto Airport (if requested)
10:00 - Arrival at the activity place in Peneda Gerês National Park
10:30 - Start tour
12:30 - Snack break
16:00 - End of tour
17:00 - Drop off at your accommodation place (if requested)
Minimum height and weight: 30 Kg | 135 cm
Maximum height and weight: 115 kg | 210 cm
Children under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult or have the consent of parents / guardians to participate in the activity.
