Practical information
For 4 to 4.5 hours, take a trip down the Grand Galet Canyon in the Langevin River, Saint-Joseph, and test yourself against its various obstacles:
- an 80-metre abseil-zip line,
- jumps up to 7 metres high (all optional),
- natural slides up to 8 metres long,
- abseiling, up to 15 metres high.
Course of events
Please allow around 5.5 hours for the whole experience.
- Meeting with the instructor at the Grand Galet waterfall car park (free parking, no toilets on site)
- Wetsuit fitting and equipment distribution (approx. 20 minutes)
- Easy 15-minute approach walk to the start of the canyon (100 metres of elevation difference)
- Briefing on the activity and safety instructions (5 to 10 minutes)
- Departure for 4 to 4.5 hours canyoning in the Grand Galet Canyon in the Langevin River, with jumps (optional), natural slides, abseiling and an abseil-zip line
- 3-minute walk back to the parking
- De-equipping, cleaning and storage of equipment (approx. 20 minutes)
- Debriefing of the activity and sharing of photos of the outing via WhatsApp over a snack to end the activity

Being in good physical condition is required to take part in this activity.
