For more experienced riders, Les Chevaux du Maïdo offers sportive rides in order to make you live an authentic experience just a stone's throw from the Piton Maïdo, which peaks at 2,200 meters of altitude.

You have already ridden a horse and would like to go for a more dynamic ride in the magnificent setting of the Reunion Island? Then this activity is made for you!

The adventure awaits only you on the western heights of the Reunion Island, in the region of Saint-Paul, where you can choose between two rides: one for average riders, and the other for more experienced riders.

Throughout the ride, you will be supervised by a team of passionate professionals and you will benefit from a quality cavalry adapted to your level.

Intermediate level ride designed for riders who have already been on horseback a few times, have no apprehensions and are in decent physical condition: the ride consists of an introduction to horseback riding (15 to 20 minutes), followed by a walk and trot in the forest with the possibility of cantering if the instructor judges that the riders are up to it (1h40-45)

Très boueux au vu de la météo. Attention, étriller un cheval peut déclencher une allergie carabinée. Prévoir masque, foulard, et sérum physiologique.
