Activity description

If you are a level 1 diver or above, discover the fauna and flora of the Marine Nature Reserve of Reunion Island during a double dive with Plongée Péi !

Located on the west coast of the island, the Marine Nature Reserve of Reunion Island extends from Cap la Houssaye to the Pointe de l'Étang Salé over more than 3,500 hectares! High place of biodiversity, the Marine Nature Reserve of Reunion Island welcomes an exceptional marine fauna. Undoubtedly one of the best sites in the world for scuba diving, there is the famous spot of the Passe de l'Ermitage, ideal for the observation of marine turtles; the spot of Sec Jaune, very appreciated for its very colorful underwater life; or the Antonio Lorenzo, an impressive wreck only accessible to the most experienced divers!

After a briefing by the certified diving instructors of Plongée Péi on the exploration process, the underwater environment, the equipment used and the safety, board a semi-rigid boat and sail off in the direction of the crystalline waters of the coral reefs of Saint-Paul Bay. Once you arrive at the spot, chosen by the instructors according to your level and the weather conditions, make one dive and then a second one in azure blue water at 26 degrees and enjoy the breathtaking scenery of the best lagoons in the West of Reunion Island!

Course of events

- Meeting point at Pontoon D, Rue Berthier, Le Port 97420, La Réunion.
- Welcome and briefing on the exploration, the underwater environment, the equipment used and the security.
- Departure from Le Port on board the semi-rigid of Plongée Péi.
- Boat trip to the immersion point
- Putting in place of the equipment: fins, mask, stabilizing vest, weights.
- 1st dive under the supervision of your instructor guides.
- 2nd dive under the supervision of your instructor guides.
- Tasting of a snack and return trip to Le Port.
