Activity description

Experience a guided day trip to Saint-Paul from the Piton Maïdo!

Discover the natural and cultural wonders of Reunion Island on an unforgettable guided excursion from the Piton Maïdo. You'll start your day early, before the island's heights are covered by clouds, and embark on an unforgettable adventure.

The Piton Maïdo, rising to an altitude of around 2,200 meters, offers a breathtaking view from its belvedere. You'll marvel at the breathtaking view of the Cirque de Mafate and the island's highest point, Piton des Neiges.

Pass through a magnificent tamarind forest, perfect for a picnic break and also offering access to numerous outdoor activities. After this panoramic exploration, your Reunion Island excursion will immerse you in local craftsmanship with a workshop on geranium distillation. Then you'll have the choice of a cooking workshop and rhum arrangé, a typical Reunion Island drink, or, for the more sporty, a session of accrobranche!

Continue your cultural discoveries with a visit to the Villèle museum, where you'll discover a wealth of period objects and learn about the history of the island's inhabitants. Then round off your day in style with a relaxing stroll through the Garden of Eden, a tropical botanical garden!

This guided tour of Piton Maïdo promises a rich variety of discoveries, for memories that will last a lifetime!
