34 Pulau Ubin, a short 1 minute walk from the jetty. Upon arriving at Pulau Ubin via the ferry, cross the boardwalk and take a left. Walk on until you see us (house painted white) on your right.

About the activity

This rewarding full days sea kayaking takes place deep within the mangroves on the open water - it's sure to be the highlight of your trip.

This leisurely kayaking adventure starts at the southern end of Pulau Ubin, Singapore, following the coastline westward, all going towards the highlights of Ketam Island. Animal sightings are common throughout the journey, these include flocks of grey herons, families of otters, and massive fish schoolings.

Your experienced adventure leaders will locate and point out all natural wonders and wildlife along the journey.

No prerequisites required for this excursion, and is the ideal challenge all fitness types, those more leisurely as well as those looking to push their physical boundaries. Not to worry though, the team will tailor the day according to the fitness of the group and they are always happy to help where required.

This was a really enjoyable trip, with a good amount of kayaking and lots of information about the mangroves and bits and pieces about wildlife and people that we saw. It was fairly energetic, and I would say best for people with a reasonable level of fitness, and you definitely want to take water and sun cream. You get out at the end of Pulau Ubin for a little walk to a shrine, with more information about that.

We kayaked a short while to the mangrove. Inside the mangrove the guides Tom and Dennis explained different trees and pointed out birds to us.
