Activity description
In the mountains surrounding the Soča Valley, there are many canyons and gorges with rushing streams and thundering waterfalls that feed the Soča River. Indeed, the Bovec area offers the richest canyoning in Europe!
We organize canyoning tours in Sušec, Fratarica, and Predelica. The canyons are accessed on foot by hiking the mountain trails leading to them. In the canyons, we slide down natural toboggans and the shorter waterfalls. We jump from the rocks into deep crystal clear pools. Sušec, located only a few minutes from Bovec, is the easiest and recommended for beginners. This is truly nature’s water park! The Sušec “aquapark” is also suitable for families.

- Meet at the meeting point: complete your registration for the trip.
- Issue all the necessary personal equipment (helmet, neoprene clothing, shoes, and slide pants).
- Travel about 10 minutes by bus to the canyon‘s trailhead. Here you will change into your personal equipment issued earlier. Then we will walk for about 20-25 minutes to the entrance of the canyon.
- Your experienced and certified guide will then give you a complete introduction, including safety instructions for sliding and jumping techniques.
- Then off you’ll go for an hour and a half to two and a half hours of unforgettable canyoning!
- At the end of your trip, you will change back into your dry clothes and return the earlier issued
equipment.
- Finally, we will transport you by bus back to our office in the center of Bovec. This takes about 20 minutes.
- We recommend canyoning to those who aren’t afraid of heights and enjoy the swimming, sliding, and jumping activities of water parks.
- All participants must be able to swim well, be psychologically and physically healthy, and not be under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
- Participants under 18 years of age must provide parental or a legal guardian’s consent.
