Activity description

Dare to descend the Viandico canyon in the National Park of Ordesa and Monte Perdido, in the Pyrenees: fun is guaranteed!

The Ordesa y Monte Perdido National Park (Huesca) is undoubtedly one of the best known natural parks in the Pyrenees, especially for its Cola de Caballo route. However, in addition to hiking, this park also offers many other outdoor activities. Another plan that you should not miss on your visit to the Aragonese Pyrenees is to go down the Vaindico canyon.

The Viandico canyon is part of the Añisclo Canyon (Escalona), one of the most spectacular canyons in the Aragonese Pyrenees due to its waterfalls and lush forests. The Añisclo Canyon has several hiking routes such as the Puente del Río Bellos-Río Aso as well as different canyoning routes. The guides of Awa Aventura propose you to descend the Barranco Viandico, a canyon of low difficulty, suitable for both adults and children in which you will find jumps of various heights, pools, slides... The activity begins with the meeting of the guide in the car park of San Urbez, where he will distribute the material and you will start the 30 minutes approach route until you reach the beginning of the canyon. Once there, the descent lasts about two hours and ends with a 12-metre abseil! But don't worry, there is an escape route available in case you don't want to jump. As this is a circular route, at the end of the descent you will be back at the starting point in 10 minutes.

Come canyoning in the Aragonese Pyrenees and descend the Barranco Viandico, in the Añiscl Canyon, the most beautiful canyon in the Ordesa y Monte Perdido National Park!
