The Costa Brava is the coastal area that stretches from the top of the city of Barcelona to the French border. Flying in this area you can see the coastline (Costa Brava) from the air, the Natural Park of the Medes Islands, the beach of Pals, and some traditional villages such as Ullastret , Peratallada , Palau Sator , Verges , etc. Maximum altitude: 2,500 feet.
Here you have the opportunity to get to know the Costa Brava in an unconventional and quiet way, from the sky in a hot air balloon. Early in the morning, when the sun starts to rise, you will experience the magical experience of the sunrise and the operation of the balloon. The crew will place the gigantic balloon on the ground and then inflate it. Once the balloon has expanded, they will light the burners and begin to heat the air entering the balloon until it can rise.
Once the balloon is ready, you will climb into the basket for a flight of approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes, depending on the weather conditions. Depending on where you take off from, Baix Empordà or Alt Empordà, you will be able to contemplate the Costa Brava and its beauty from the sky. You will fall in love with the views of the Costa Brava, taking off from the Baix Empordà on the banks of the river Ter as it passes through Colomers.
At the end of this incredible experience, you will receive a flight certificate and a toast with cava to celebrate the moment. You will be sent digital photos of your flight.
While you're in the air, the ground crew will follow you on 4x4 vehicle that will also drive you back to the meeting point after you landed safely. But first, you'll have a sparkling wine toast and receive a certificate that makes you part of the hot air balloon riders community!
