Located in the provinces of Madrid and Segovia, this park offers the chance to discover some of the best examples of Iberian nature, only one hour by car from the city of Madrid.
Snowshoes were already used by the ancient inhabitants of the Caucasus as an essential tool in their journeys on foot across the vast snowy mountains. They already knew of their usefulness, allowing them to cross the snowy environment more quickly and comfortably, by providing a wider flotation base than the soles of their boots and thus preventing them from sinking into the snow.

At 9:00 am, we will meet you at the Puerto de Navacerrada from where we will start our snowshoe trekking route. Before starting the trek, you will be given the equipment and you will be given a detailed explanation about its use so that you can enjoy its possibilities to the maximum.
Our priority is safety, therefore, the snowshoe trekking route is done through studied routes and under strict safety measures, taking into account the weather conditions and the state of the snow, all this with the help of a mountain guide who will accompany us throughout the route. In this way, we reduce risks to a minimum and ensure that you have a unique experience.
Special terms
There is the possibility to request transport from Atocha and Plaza Castilla: Round trip for 10€.
It is recommended to be at the meeting point 10 minutes before the appointed time.
