Los Puentes section of 400 metres of ascent, with a medium difficulty and an activity time of about 3 hours. Crossing of 2 bridges, one Tibetan and the other more spectacular one of planks. Suitable for anyone without vertigo.
Meet your instructor at the activity base for this Via Ferrata excursion in Picos de Europa National Park. Organized according to age and ability, choose from one of three routes that traverse La Hermida Gorge. Suited to anyone with a head for heights, this activity starts off with a quick safety briefing and a few practical tips before you clip into the safety line and start climbing.
Following your guide on a route that traverses up to 700m across the rock face, no previous climbing experience is necessary – using iron pegs, handy ladders, and guidelines to help you cross the gorge – a huge footbridge that’s suspended over a 100m void! Once you have completed the circuit, you will return back to the base to swap stories and catch your breath.
Minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian

La Hermida has three possible routes in Picos de Europa National park that travel up to 800m above sea level. Renowned for its Tibetan Bridges that run 45m above Hermida Gorge, this course has routes for beginners and intermediates and traverses mixed terrain with ladders, steps, climbs and tightropes.
La Hermida is a via ferrata course that requires no previous experience or rope skills. Whilst this 6km route is mentally challenging, children as young as 9 years are invited to try the 200m and 400m climbs. Climbing gloves and footwear with a good grip are recommended.
