Sleigh Ride behind a Snowmobile to the Summits of Abisko National Park from Abisko and Björkliden

Get pulled on a giant sleigh behind a snowmobile all the way up to the summits of Abisko National Park to enjoy some breathtaking views over the frozen landscape!

During this adventure through the mountainous parts of Abisko National Park, your guide will drive a snowmobile pulling your entire group up the incline, gaining altitude to access the stunning views over the region. As Abisko National Park is so vast, it would take a lot of time and effort to reach these peaks without some motorized help. This excursion grants you easy access to sights that would otherwise be challenging to reach. What's more, you will spend the duration of it comfortably seated in a whimsical sleigh, alongside your friends and family, with hot drinks to keep you warm. 

Along the way, your guide will point out any animals and animal tracks nearby, so you get some insight into the wildlife up in the Arctic. With some luck, you may even get to see some of the moose, reindeer, wolverines and ptarmigans that reside in the permafrost of the park. 

Once at the topic, the real show will begin. Marvel at the beautiful view over the frozen Lake Torneträsk below and the mountains beyond, forming the border between Sweden and Norway. Your guide will give you some time to take it all in before heading back down to town, hearts full from your outing in the wild Lappish backcountry.
