The tour will begin with a briefing on how to manage your sled. You will then meet your pack of dogs, harness them to the front of your sled, and set off through the many landscapes that compose the region of Dalarna.
This experience is truly intimate and allows for a stress-free journey around Sweden's wilderness, in the company of your guide. Together with the dogs, you will have to put in some work to drive the sled up mountains. Driving your own dogsled is physically demanding, especially uphill. However, once at the top, you will be rewarded with a great view of the wildlife below.
You and your guide will take a break at a campsite for lunch, where you will enjoy a delicious homemade lunch while the dogs get some well-deserved rest. Enjoy a yummy Swedish Kolbulle, a locally-sourced pancake, and a hot cup of coffee by an open fire before heading back off towards the kennels.
