Experience the beautiful winter nature of Dalarna County in Sweden on a thrilling snowmobiling safari from Dala-Järna. Welcoming adventurers from ages 3 and up!
This activity takes place in Dala-Järna, a town located in Dalarna County. The region is situated in the heart of Sweden, bordering Norway to the west. This area is surrounded by pristine natural wilderness, including dense forests, rolling hills, and picturesque lakes. A snowmobiling adventure during the winter months is the perfect way to explore this Swedish landscape!
You will begin your journey by meeting the experienced guide at the starting point in Dala-Järna. They will take you through a safety briefing and driving lesson for snowmobiling. You will be driving the snowmobile by yourself (solo riding), in a small group with up to 5 drivers. Children or those without a driver’s license can also join the tour, they will sit on a sled pulled by the guide’s snowmobile. Once you are set up with all of your equipment, the adventure begins!
Following the guide, you will drive your snowmobile over pristine snowy terrain through the beautiful forest. Feel the peaceful atmosphere of this remote untouched landscape on your adventurous ride! You will snowmobile to a breathtaking viewpoint, pausing to take in the fairytale scenery. The guide will build a roaring campfire as you take a break to warm up. A delicious Swedish fika (sweet rolls) and a cup of hot chocolate with marshmallows, coffee or tea will be served around the fire.
After the break, you will set off once again through the trees. The guide will share insights and facts about the different flora and fauna you may pass along the way. Sometimes, you may even encounter some wild animals or their tracks in the snow. The guide will stop to show you anything interesting, so you can truly immerse yourself in this remote location! At the end of the tour, you will return to the starting point in Dala-Järna with unforgettable memories.

Activity requirements
Snowmobile drivers must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid driver's license. Please bring the original copy with you on the day of the activity.
Special terms
Each snowmobile is driven by one person. Children under 18 years old and those without a drivers license can ride in a sled pulled by the guide's snowmobile. The sled can hold either 4 small children, 3 older children (over 3 years old) or 2 adults. For this option, you need to book 'Passenger'.
