Course of events
You should plan to spend around 3.5 hours on this activity:

- Hop on a snowmobile-pulled sled and head to the fishing spot chosen for the day

Being in basic good physical condition is required to take part in this activity.
A minimum of 4 participants is necessary to run this activity. If this requirement is not fulfilled, your instructor will try to reschedule your activity or provide a full refund.
All minors must be accompanied by an adult.

Your instructor includes thermal suits in the activity. However, if you need one, you need to reserve it in advance. Please contact your instructor once your reservation is ready to reserve your size (S to XL)

Discover an ancient Nordic tradition and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of snowy Sweden on this wonderful ice fishing excursion from Klimpfjäll! Located near the Norwegian border, Klimpfjäll is a small, former mining village in the Vilhelmina Municipality of Sweden. Surrounded by beautiful, untouched natural landscapes, Klimpfjäll is now a recognised tourist destination, especially for sports that need long expanses of snowy landscapes, such as snowshoeing, skiing, snowboarding, and, of course, ice fishing.
On the day of your ice fishing excursion from Klimpfjäll, you'll need to arrive at the meeting point in the Klimpfjäll Hotel. There, you'll meet your expert Klimpfjäll Explorer instructor, who will give you a warm welcome. Next, they will distribute the thermal overalls and let you get ready. Thermal overalls are available in sizes S to XL. If you need one, please get in touch with your instructor to reserve your size. Once you're all geared up, your instructor will offer a few safety recommendations to help you avoid mishaps.
When everyone is prepared, it's time to go! You'll hop on a snowmobile-pulled sled and have a nice scenic ride toward the fishing spot that your expert instructor has chosen for the day. Once you arrive, your instructor will set up reindeer hides and even a tent to protect you from the cold. You'll learn how to drill a hole in the ice and cast your line! If you catch a big enough fish, your instructor can prepare it for you with butter and lemon on the side.
Keep in mind that this wonderful 3-hour ice fishing excursion from Klimpfjäll will take place during the Nordic winter, when temperatures can be as low as -15 degrees Celsius. You should come prepared with good winter gear to keep you safe and warm throughout the experience. Wool or thermal under layers and wind and waterproof outerwear are recommended, as well as waterproof gloves, a scarf, a hat, and anything else you might need (extra layers, medication, etc.) to spend a safe and fun moment out in the Swedish landscapes.
