Attention animal lovers and outdoor enthusiasts - this 7-hour hike in the Swedish wilderness from Strömsund in the company of an adorable husky is definitely for you!
Throughout this adventure, you'll enjoy the spectacular landscapes of Sweden and hike up the Rusfjället Mountain, which is in proximity to the renowned Hotagen nature reserve. With a maximum capacity of 6 people, you and your group, including one energetic Siberian husky for each person, will be accompanied by a friendly and knowledgeable guide. In addition, you'll be treated to a delicious lunch cooked over an open fire, as well as coffee, tea, and pastries.
Your fun-filled day begins after meeting your guide at Nordic Husky Farm and will receive a tour of the kennel and meet some four-legged friends! After going over the equipment and itinerary, groups with a 4-person maximum will be shuttled to the departure point (larger groups will follow in their own vehicle). The 15 km (9-mile) hike will begin on a forest road with a gradual climb.
Along the way, you'll travel via pine forests and marshes, picking berries as you go. After a short snack break for you and your husky, you'll head to one of the region's many lakes, where coffee and traditional Swedish lunch will be cooked over the campfire. You'll have ample time to sit back and relax and enjoy the stunning surrounding, take a refreshing dip or try your hand at fishing! Mountain trout are plentiful in this area.
Upon your return to the farm, you'll enjoy home-baked pastries with coffee or tea before bidding goodbye to your husky friend and heading back to civilization with memories that will last a lifetime!

Please note that the total walking distance of this tour is approximately 15 km (9 miles) and is of light difficulty. However, all participants should be able to walk 7 km (4 miles) uphill and through varying terrain.
