The TITCH skateboard school offers you skateboarding lessons in Geneva to introduce you to the sport or improve your skills no matter your age and level!
Come and learn to skateboard at the TITCH school in Geneva with experienced instructors! The school is based on the principle that the best form of learning is by example for young people. Skateboarding lessons are given by skaters who are very experienced in the discipline, and even professionals.
The classes take place on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays in Geneva, and last 1 or 2 hours depending on your choice. They take place in the Plainpalais skatepark, but the location can vary according to the demand, the day and the time of the year. The Plainpalais skatepark is for young and old who practice skateboarding, rollerblading or BMX. It has a surface of about 3,000 m², which makes it one of the biggest in Europe. It offers different areas for beginners, intermediate and advanced skaters, including a "bowl" dug deep into the ground, a "ditch" which is a kind of long narrow channel, and a "street plaza".
If you are a beginner, you will first learn how to ride, go down the first few inclines, and work on your position on the board, etc. If you already know how to ride, you will learn the first tricks like the ollie and the Shuvit, but also how to ride your first modules. And if you already master the ollie, you will work on some grinds (50-50, boardslide...), kickflip, Pop Shuvit, etc.
