Course of events
You should allow around 4.5 hours in total for this activity, including 2 to 3 hours in the canyon.
- Meet your guide in Cresciano
- Checking equipment at the base
- Carpool to the starting point (5 minutes)
- Approximately 40 minutes steep uphill approach on foot
- Start of the canyoning descent for approximately 2 to 3 hours of activity (1 guide for a maximum of 8 participants)
- The canyon begins with a 30-metre abseil, which takes you directly into the deep gorge of the Osogna valley, characterised by its spectacular narrow passages.
- You stay in this narrow gorge for around 6 more abseiling descents.
- After a spectacular and fairly demanding 45-metre descent (directly under the water jet), you reach the last part of the gorge, which opens out further.
- In this last section, accompanied by the sun, you can go down a 15-metre slide and jump up to a height of 12 metres.
- The tour ends at the famous Pozzon d'Osogna
- Possibility of a drink at the Grotto al Pozzon
- Return walk (5 minutes)
- Return to Cresciano, de-equipping and debriefing
Activity requirements
To take part in this activity, you need to know how to swim, not be afraid of heights and have experience of abseiling and canyoning.
Good general health, sure footedness and physical fitness are also required.
A minimum of 2 participants is required for the activity to take place.
Special terms
Due to unpredictable weather conditions, your guide reserves the right to change the canyon, departure time or conditions of participation if necessary.
Contact lenses or glasses are not a problem for canyoning. Please bring a lanyard for glasses and a waterproof case so that you can carry them into the canyon if necessary.
For safety reasons, it is advisable to remove jewellery and piercings before the activity. There is also a risk of losing them.
