Charming village in the south-west of Martinique, Les Anses-d'Arlet seduces many with its beautiful beaches on the edge of the Caribbean Sea. Between its Anse Dufour, a heavenly white sand beach, and its Anse Noire, the only black sand beach in the south of the island, it is difficult to find a better snorkeling spot to observe sea turtles! The seabed of Anses-d'Arlet is a popular spot for diving, with its abundance of multicoloured fish and turtles. And if you are looking for other water activities to do, don't hesitate to try wakeboarding, stand up paddle, or even hydrofoil biking, an original and unique activity in Martinique!

Of course, a visit to the village of Anses-d'Arlet is a must, as well as the discovery of Martinique's culinary specialties in the many local restaurants. I felt safe and assured diving with highly experienced instructors, that made me feel comfortable from the moment I stepped through there door, I was always addressed by my name, by all! That is impressive itself considering there were many divers! Who the fully certified Diver instructors also treated with care and attended each individual details!

We really enjoyed the experience of moving in the water whilst being able to see the fish, star fish and turtles in the bay. Definitely something different to the usual snorkelling experience.
