Activity description

Are you a certified Level 1 diver? Discover one of the deepest gulfs in Europe with an exploration dive in Ajaccio!

If you have obtained a Level 1 diving certification, you can participate in these exploration diving trips in Ajaccio which will allow you to discover a rich and sublime underwater fauna and flora. Starting from Trottel beach, you will leave with a dive guide to dive in the Gulf of Ajaccio or its surroundings, on a dive site chosen according to your level, the weather conditions, as well as your desires so that you make the most of your experience. Among these sites, you will find among others:

The Tête de mort - diving generally between 20 and 30 meters deep, main drop off and rocky plateau where you can meet groupers, tuna and barracudas among others;

The Sette Nave - dive to the main plateau at a depth of 10 meters with drop offs and caves where you can encounter octopus, starfish, schools of mullet, sea urchins and many other species;

The Valley of the Groupers - Level 2 minimum, up to 50 meters deep where groupers are numerous;

The Campanina - diving either at the beacon with magnificent drop offs up to 40 meters deep (Level 1 or more), a site full of fish; or at the cave (reserved for Level 3) whose entrance at 50 meters deep will give you great sensations;

The Tabernacle - diving between 3 and 25 meters deep off the Sanguinaires Islands, in calm waters where it is possible to see moray eels, conger eels and barracudas.

The Gulf of Ajaccio is an ideal place to dive in Corsica, so if you are certified Level 1 or above and have the opportunity, don't hesitate to participate in the exploration dive trips in Ajaccio!
