Activity description
Take advantage of the rich underwater environment of the Gulf of Ajaccio in order to pass your Level 1 diving course in excellent conditions!
You have already done a first dive and you want to go further in the discipline? The Level 1 FFESSM (French Federation of Underwater Studies and Sports) or ANMP (National Association of Diving Instructors) training is what you need! It is with the help of theoretical courses and 4 dives in the Gulf of Ajaccio and its surroundings that you will acquire the skills required to participate in exploration diving trips requiring a minimum Level 1.
As there is no final exam, you will be evaluated throughout this Level 1 course by the instructor in charge of your training, as you progress. You will attend theoretical courses individually, in groups or by distance learning (e-learning) according to your preferences, and will participate in 4 training dives in the Gulf of Ajaccio spread over 2 to 4 days according to your wishes and availability (2 dives maximum per day).
This Level 1 training course in Ajaccio is given by professional scuba divers with a state diploma and a passion for diving. It will allow you to discover the discipline in greater depth and to participate in exploration diving trips anywhere in Corsica, in France and anywhere else in the world!
Training including the theoretical aspect (distance learning (e-learning), group or individual lessons according to your choice at times determined with you) and the technical aspect (4 dives spread over 2, 3 or 4 days according to your wishes and availability - 2 dives per day maximum)
Course of events
- Welcome at the E Ragnole diving center
- Briefing about the activity and first dive
- Launching from the beach for the first 3 dives (sailing to the dive site for the last dive - 5 to 20 minutes sailing)
- Safety briefing, equipment and instructions before diving
- Launching into the water for about 45 minutes with the dive guide (duration varies according to weather conditions, depth of the dive, your level and your consumption)
- Out of the water, then return to the center to return the equipment and plan the rest of the training with the instructor
Having already completed a first dive is not required to partake in the activity.
A written parental authorisation or the presence of a parent on site is required for minors to take part in this activity. Parents may accompany their children on the boat with a financial contribution (to be discussed with the instructors on site).
All participants must bring a medical certificate from their doctor dated within the last 3 months stating that they are allowed to practice this activity.

This activity is weather-dependent. If the weather does not allow for the activity to take place, we will contact you to reschedule or receive a full refund.
The registration and certification fees (additional 80€) are to be paid on site.
