What to do in Vesterålen

The tour far exceeded our expectations. We met our guide Jens at 11pm in Sortland. Jens drove us around the islands for 4 hours and we saw 21 moose and also some reindeer, owls and mountain hares. It was midnight sun and therefore very bright even with overcast skies, but we wouldn't have spotted any animals ourselves. Jens also knows a lot about the animals and we had very interesting conversations. Jens is also very friendly and relaxed and you can tell that he loves what he does. In addition, he is a very good nature photographer and takes wonderful photos with his camera equipment during the tour. He makes the photos available after the tour. We thank Jens for an unforgettable experience and we would book this tour again. The organization (booking, payment, tour) was also very professional and uncomplicated.

The trip was really fun. Jens picked us up in Sortland and we drove around the islands for more than four hours and saw 19 different mooses. We also saw some reindeer, eagles and seals. Jens told us so many interesting things about the islands and the animals, and you can feel that this really is his passion. Also he takes amazing photos with his camera. 10/10 would recommend.

Es war sehr schön und jederzeit wieder. Auch wenn die Fahrt teilweise sehr unruhig war.

Beeindruckt hat uns die Vielzahl von unterschiedlichen Tieren, die wir in ihrer natürlichen Umgebung erleben konnten. Gesehen haben wir Wale, Delphine, Seeadler, Papageitaucher, Tordalke, Fregattvögel und andere.

Sympa. Difficile à entendre les explications, malgré les hauts parleurs. Bien prévoir bonnet, gants, plusieurs couches de vêtements, coupe-vent. Safari ayant duré quasiment 8h sur le bateau.
