Lisbon Surf Connection

Lisbon Surf Connection is a surf school based in Carcavelos, just outside Lisbon, with over 10 years of experience. Led by António and his passionate team, it offers professional yet laid-back surf lessons designed to make every traveller feel welcome, supported and inspired.

Sessions take place on Carcavelos beach, a top Portuguese surf spot known for its year-round consistent waves and beginner-friendly conditions. Lessons are given in English, Portuguese or Spanish, with small-group supervision, typically one instructor for every five participants, and never more than 15 per group.

Each session includes a warm welcome, gear fitting, a warm-up, technical and safety briefing, about 1.5 hours in the water, and a relaxing cool-down. Soft and hard-top boards (6’4–9’0) and wetsuits for all sizes are provided, along with full insurance.

With daily sessions, Lisbon Surf Connection offers more than just a surf lesson, it’s a chance to connect with the ocean, the culture, and yourself.
