Operating since 2012, Explore Paragliding offers a personalised approach to tandem paragliding in the Chania and Heraklion regions. Founded by Yannis, a certified pilot with over 20 years of experience in Crete, this professional setup prioritises quality over volume. Every flight is conducted by the founder himself, ensuring a safe and unhurried experience tailored to each passenger.

Activities take place across iconic Cretan sites, including Falasarna and Varipetro in Chania, as well as Avdou and Aposelemi near Heraklion. These locations provide a unique perspective on the turquoise Mediterranean waters and the rugged inland topography. Sessions are designed to be beginner-friendly, featuring calm and detailed briefings that help participants feel confident before takeoff.

Explore Paragliding provides high-end professional equipment, including harnesses and helmets that undergo regular safety inspections. To ensure a seamless experience, transfers from the meeting point to the takeoff site and back are included. Passengers also have the option to capture their flight with a GoPro video and photo package available on-site.

Safety is the core pillar of every operation. Certified by the Hellenic Air Sports Federation, the team conducts a rigorous weather assessment before every flight. In the event of unsuitable conditions, flights are rescheduled or fully refunded without hesitation. To maintain the highest standards of care, each person flies separately with the pilot, respecting a maximum weight limit of 100kg.
