Located in Muurola, right next to the Pisavaara Nature Reserve and just a few kilometres from Rovaniemi, Snowtrail Safaris is a family-run business born of the passion of 2 local families for the great outdoors. Specialising in immersive experiences in the Far North, Snowtrail Safaris stands out for its authentic, human and respectful approach to the Arctic environment, far from the tourist effluence of the major centres.

The range of activities on offer includes what they call Electric Reindeer, an electric snow scooter, as well as sleigh rides pulled by a snowmobile and a visit to a reindeer farm. Snowtrail Safaris offers a premium quality service, with groups limited to 8 people per guide to ensure a safe and friendly experience. Each outing includes transport from the hotels in Rovaniemi and comfort breaks with hot drinks and local snacks around the fire. The itineraries follow exclusive trails in areas with low light pollution, maximising the chances of observing the Northern Lights at night.
