Aix en Vol Parapente

Aix en Vol Parapente is a paragliding company founded in 2023 in Aix-les-Bains, offering tandem flights across the Savoie region. Flights take place at 3 main take-off sites selected according to meteorological conditions: Mont Revard near Aix-les-Bains, Le Sapenay near Chindrieux, and Verel below the Croix du Nivolet.

The team consists of 2 permanent instructors, expanding to 3 or 4 professionals during the high season. The founder has been an instructor since 2006, accumulating over 6,000 flights alongside an elite competitive background that includes a PWCA World Champion title in 2010 and 2 World Cup victories in 2012.

As a key safety guarantee, all pilots are state-certified instructors who undergo a mandatory skills refresher course every 6 years. Equipment is inspected and serviced annually, and daily operations rely on a collective weather assessment every evening supplemented by multiple safety checks throughout the day. The company operates in partnership with the local tourism boards of Aix les Bains Riviera des Alpes and Grand Chambéry Alpes Tourisme.
