Learn more about Skydive Mimizan

Skydiving tandem jumps and AFF training courses in Mimizan with an FFP-approved school established in the Landes region since 1998.

Skydive Mimizan is a certified school founded in 1998 in Mimizan, Landes, representing over 28 years of activity in the South-West of France. Located 10 minutes from the Atlantic Ocean, 1 hour from the Basque Country, and 1 hour 15 minutes from Bordeaux, this centre offers tandem skydiving jumps from an altitude of 4,200 meters with 50 seconds of freefall, alongside weekly Accelerated Freefall training courses for autonomous jumping. Flights are operated with a Pilatus PC6 aircraft, supplemented in July and August by a Cessna Caravan. The dropzone features an on-site technical workshop for parachute maintenance and repairs managed by a certified rigger, as well as a parking lot, a snack bar serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and a bar. For multi-day stays, the structure provides common or individual rooms upon reservation, alongside a campsite area suitable for tents and vans. Affiliated and approved by the French Skydiving Federation and the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the school relies on a qualified technical team including state-certified instructors holding BPJEPS and BEES qualifications, who adapt group sizes and operations based on weather monitoring. You overlook the Aquitaine coastline and the Arcachon Bay during your parachute deployment following a comprehensive safety briefing.
