Maison des Guides et de la Montagne Val Thorens is a local guide bureau based in the Vallée des Belleville since 2001, proposing outdoor activities across the 3 Vallées and the Vanoise massif. Operating from Val Thorens, Les Menuires, St Martin de Belleville, and Méribel, the team organises off-piste skiing, ski touring, ice climbing, and snowshoeing in winter. In summer, you can join them for rock climbing, via ferrata, and mountaineering ascents on the Mont-Blanc or the Gébroulaz glacier. The structure brings together UIAGM-certified mountain guides and BASI 2 ski instructors with over 25 years of activity in the region. Sessions are conducted in English, French, Spanish, and Russian, catering to all levels in groups of up to 8 participants. To ensure safety and convenience, the bureau provides all technical gear free of charge. You are equipped with avalanche transceivers, shovels, probes, harnesses, ice axes, crampons, and mountaineering boots, with a stock of 62 pairs available from size 35 to 50.
