Ideally located about 30 minutes' drive from Trois-Rivières, halfway between Montreal and Quebec City, Shawinigan is a town in the Mauricie region surrounded by forests, rivers and lakes. Your climbing activity in Shawinigan will take place in the Parc de l'Île-Melville, near Shawinigan Falls.
To begin, you'll meet your guide at the rendezvous point, where you'll be provided with quality equipment: harness, helmet and climbing shoes. You'll go to the wall and the instructor will explain the safety instructions and belay techniques. Then it's up to you to climb routes of different levels, depending on your ability!

- Welcome by the instructor at the car park and distribution of equipment (harness, helmet and climbing shoes).
- Approximately 3-minute walk to the wall
- Safety briefing and demonstration of belay techniques
- Climb several routes of different levels, depending on your ability
- Return to the car park, collect your equipment and debrief
A minimum number of 4 participants is required for this activity to take place.
You will be asked to sign a risk acceptance form before the activity begins.
This activity is weather-dependent. If the weather does not allow for the activity to take place, we will contact you to reschedule or receive a full refund.
Students will be asked to provide proof of enrolment.
