  • Activity description

Try ice climbing at La Montagne d'Argent, near Mont-Tremblant in the Laurentians!

Ice climbing in the Laurentians is the perfect way to experience new sensations and discover all the possibilities of the Quebec winter. This winter sport in Quebec is world-renowned for the quality and safety of its many incredible ice stunts.

During this introductory ice climbing day at La Montagne d'Argent, your La Liberté Nord Sud instructor will introduce you to the activity and the equipment before teaching you belay techniques, basic descents and how to move around on the ice. Then, after a review of communication and safety instructions, you can start climbing on a training wall, under the supervision and advice of your instructor.

The icefalls at La Montagne d'Argent are all less than 30 metres high, which is already very impressive for a beginner, and are classified between grades 3 and 4+, which is perfect for starting out, learning the basics and even progressing in ice climbing.

Whether you are an experienced climber or not, don't hesitate to try ice climbing Quebec-style by booking your introductory ice climbing day at La Montagne d'Argent in the Laurentians!
