Admire sublime snow-covered landscapes in the heart of nature from Montreal on a day's winter hiking in the Sept-Chutes Regional Park!
On the road to Lake Taureau in the north of the Lanaudière region is the Sept-Chutes Regional Park, a superb natural site with many hiking trails offering a breath of fresh air. And what better way to enjoy this natural area under the snow than to set off on a day's winter hiking from Montreal? Minibus transport is provided on both the outward and return journeys, so all you have to worry about is what picnic you want to take with you!
You will have around 7 hours of free time to hike in the Sept-Chutes Regional Park, with the option of renting snowshoes on site if you wish. Various trails ranging from 2 to 14 km await you in the park, ideal for everyone to make the most of this day on their own: between the Voile de la Mariée, Mount Barrière, Lake Rémi, Mount Brassard and Lake Jérôme, you will be spoilt for choice to discover the wonderful landscapes of the Sept-Chutes Regional Park!

Course of events
- Meeting at Radisson metro station in Montreal
- Minibus journey with guide/driver to the Sept-Chutes Regional Park (approx. 1.5-hour drive)
- Arrival at the park and start of the 7 hours of free time during which you can hike, with or without snowshoes, on different trails for all levels
- Return to Montreal by minibus (about 1.5-hour drive) and end of the experience
