The activity is designed to ensure your comfort and safety, as well as that of the dogs. Aboard the sled driven by your professional guide, you will be seated two by two in a large sled called a toboggan. If you wish, you can even ask to be the guide's co-pilot for the duration of the experience, giving you the chance to experience driving a dog sled for yourself! The dogs accompanying you on this activity are Alaskan Huskies, bred since the early 20th century for their stamina, willpower and enjoyment of pulling sledges.
After this immersion in nature, you'll return to the base where you can chat with the guides, give the dogs a big cuddle and take some wonderful photos as a souvenir. And to warm you up, you'll be offered a delicious hot chocolate! If you want to extend your enjoyment, snowshoes and a toboggan run are available on site for a complete Quebec winter experience!

For the comfort and safety of dogs and humans, each sled is driven by a guide. Visitors sit 2 by 2 in a large sled called a toboggan. Co-driving with the guide is available on request during the experience.
Course of events
- Arrival and briefing (10 minutes)
- 1-hour hike along the Rivière Saint-Sixte valley trail (1h)
- Return to the base, chat, cuddle with the dogs, photos and hot chocolate (40 minutes)
- Greetings and goodbye - because the team can't wait to see you again! (10 minutes)
- Snowshoes and a slide are available to extend the fun
Special terms
No equipment additional to your outfit can be rented on site: please plan to dress yourself, and any children accompanying you, in accordance with the weather on the day of your experience.
