About the activity

Discover Purcaraccia canyon, a natural and sporty aqualand in the heart of Aiguilles de Bavella massif in southern Corsica!

The Purcaraccia is one of the most famous canyons, but also the biggest aqualand of Corsica. Located in the Aiguilles de Bavella, on the east coast of Corsica, at the border between Haute-Corse and Corse-du-Sud, it offers a magnificent setting for canyoning. It is quickly accessible from the village of Solenzara, but also from Lecci with only thirty minutes to do by car.

With its limpid waters, its superb natural slides going from 2 to 15 meters and its abseiling descents to nearly 50 meters, the canyon of Purcaraccia is a rather sporting initiation to canyoning. A nice half-day will be necessary to realize the activity, with a descent of the canyon of about 3.5 hours.

With Natura Canyon, you will discover the history of Corsica and the Aiguilles de Bavella while walking through the superb Purcaraccia canyon in the heights of Solenzara!

The canyon tour was a fantastic experience. I recommend to bring hiking shoes that are not fully waterproof because you will wear them in the water and it will be difficult to dry afterwards if they are water proof. On the other hand do not attempt to do this tour in very light shoes or even sandals.

Wir haben über Manawa Natura Canyoning gebucht & können es nur weiterempfehlen. Kleinere Gruppen als bei anderen Anbietern. Toller Guide, der anhand der Dynamik der Gruppe entscheidet, was gemacht werden kann. Die Purcaraccia Schlucht kann nur noch mit einem Guide besucht werden & ist beeindruckend schön. Bei schwierigen Sprüngen oder Rutschen gibt es die Möglichkeit, das Hindernis zu umgehen.
