Helsinki is the capital city of Finland and is the country’s major cultural, economic, and political centre. It is home to many historical and beautiful landmarks, green spaces, and a vast archipelago. On this RIB tour, you’ll explore this diverse city at nighttime!

The tour begins at the starting point in Helsinki, where you’ll meet the experienced guide and board the Rigid Inflatable Boat (RIB). The guide will go through a quick safety briefing and provide the gear (life vest, goggles, and warm clothing). Then, you’ll set off along the clear waters of the Gulf of Finland, sailing along the city’s coastline. The sturdy boat is designed to navigate high speeds safely, so you can cover more distance in a short amount of time. 

You’ll drive past the bright lights of Merisatama and Western Helsinki to the Keilaniemi business district and from there into the nocturnal sea. On a clear night, you can admire the infinite starry sky twinkling above the darkened archipelago. You’ll travel to the front of Helsinki, where the bright red lift of the Harmaja Lighthouse can be seen. The Suomenlinna Lighthouse can also be spotted, with its light signalling H for Helsinki in Morse code.

The tour continues through the district neighbourhood of Hernesaari, past the famous sauna Löyly, and Kaivopuisto, one of the oldest and most beloved parks in Helsinki. Then, you’ll see the illuminated Market Square. The guide will speed past Lonnan, a small island in the archipelago, before arriving at the lit-up Kustaanmiekka. This is one of the main islands that hold up the iconic Suomenlinna Fortress, a historic maritime fortress. You’ll see the submarine Vesikko, the famous old dock and the quest harbour. The guide will share insights about this must-see destination. The tour will then end back at the starting point in Helsinki.
