About the activity

Nicknamed the Tour de Pyha, travel across Finland's oldest national park on this multi-activity adventure, using the area's diverse bike tracks, rivers and walking trails to appreciate its untamed beauty and seasonal charm! Grab an MTB, paddle and lace up those hiking shoes for this combo tour in Lapland. Only around 1 hour and 45 minutes from Rovaniemi, Pyhä is a small town in the heart of Finland, just next to the Pyhä-Luosto National Park, which is a sanctuary for nature conservation, culture, and eco-tourism. The area has up to 75 km of summer trails that connect Lake Pyhäjärvii, Pyhäjoki River and Soutaja fell, perfect for a multi-adventure day outdoors.

On the day of your multi-activity experience in Pyhä-Luosto National Park, you will need to meet your guide at the Lucky Ranch Saloon in Pyhäntie. Your friendly instructor will greet you and give you a thorough safety briefing, as well as inform you of the itinerary for the day, which may change depending on the weather conditions. They'll distribute the bikes and any other safety equipment necessary, and once you're all geared up, you'll set off!

You'll start the day with a 12-kilometre mountain bike tour around Pyhäjärvi Lake. Enjoying the wild yet well-maintained route, follow your guide toward the banks of the river Pyhäjoki, where you will swap the bikes for canoes. You'll paddle at a casual pace through around 6 kilometres of the heart of Finnish Lapland. Once it's time, you'll stop for a picnic lunch in a rural setting, where you'll be able to soak up the stunning views of Finnish Lapland and learn more about the local wildlife. As you finish this stage of the experience, you'll descend the canoe and prepare to hike through around 7 kilometres to reach Soutaja fell (or another scenic path if this is not possible). You'll walk along the Tunturiaapa Nature Trail, enjoying untouched panoramas over the southernmost summits of the fell range. Finally, you'll reach Naava, where your return transport will be waiting to take you back to Pyhä.

Operating during the summer season from June to October, this combo tour is suitable for children from 10 years old. However, even though there is no previous experience required, anyone who participates needs to have a great level of physical fitness to participate in sporty activities all day long. You should also come prepared with comfortable clothing adapted to the weather conditions of the day, a wind and waterproof jacket in case it rains, good sports or trail shoes, a water bottle, and anything else you might need (medication, snacks, etc.) to spend an amazing 8 hours on this multi-activity experience in Pyhä-Luosto National Park!

Don't miss out on a wonderful experience in the Lappish wilderness, which will allow you to explore approximately 20 to 25 kilometres of stunning Arctic landscapes. Book your multi-activity experience in Pyhä-Luosto National Park today!
