Keep in mind that the weather in Finnish Lapland is Arctic, so temperatures can range between 5 and -30 degrees Celsius. This means that, even though your instructor will lend you high-quality winter gear, you should come prepared with a first layer of wool or thermal clothing, then a middle layer of fleece or more wool, and an outer layer with a windproof and waterproof jacket and pants.
