Rovaniemi is a beautiful city located in Finnish Lapland. The area is home to many remote forests and untouched landscapes, perfect for exploring! Snowmobiling is a very popular activity in Finland during the winter months. Snowmobiles allow you to reach areas off the beaten path and explore the wilderness very easily. During this tour, you will drive through stunning wintery scenery!
You will begin by meeting your guide at the pre-arranged pickup point in Rovaniemi. The professional snowmobile guide will explain to you how to drive a snowmobile and go through the safety instructions. You have the option of driving solo, or in pairs, with one driver and one passenger and the opportunity to switch midway. Children will be seated on a sled pulled by the guide's snowmobile. Once you are all set up and feel comfortable on the snowmobile, the adventure begins!
The tracks surround Parpalandia in Lapland, and thus are located outside of the city. Unlike the tracks around the Arctic Circle, they are not crowded with tourists, so you can enjoy an authentic experience. Under the instruction of the guide, you will drive your snowmobile across the snowy terrains through the stunning wilderness. There will be plenty of opportunities to stop and capture photos to keep as memories forever! Midway through, you will take a break in a peaceful spot. The guide will build a roaring campfire and prepare a delicious lunch of grilled sausages and hot drinks. As you warm up, they will share stories about life in the Arctic. After you have snowmobilied back to the starting point, you will return to Rovaniemi.

Activity requirements
Children under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult.
Snowmobile drivers must be at least 15 years old and hold a valid driving license – A1, T, A, or B category. Please bring the original copy with you on the day.
Special terms
For safety reasons, children will travel in a sled pulled by the guide’s snowmobile.
A minimum of 2 participants is required for this activity to take place. If the anticipated number is not reached, you will be offered a refund or the chance to reschedule.
