Rovaniemi is an Arctic city located in Lapland, northern Finland. Since Rovaniemi is known as the birthplace of Santa Claus, visiting a reindeer farm might just be one of the best ways to enjoy the world's top Christmas destination! During this experience, you'll make friends with the adorable reindeer and even have the chance to feed them.
You'll begin the day by meeting your guide at the pick-up point in Rovaniemi. Then, they will introduce you to the friendly reindeer! You will interact, play with and even feed the reindeer. This excursion is perfect for families and small children who want to feel the magic of Christmas! If snow conditions are favourable, you'll get seated in a comfortable sleigh and bundle under a blanket while pulled by a reindeer. Enjoy the wintery outdoors on a short sled ride through the woods with your loved ones. In addition, you'll be treated to warm drinks and snacks around a crackling fire in a traditional 'kota', a small wooden cabin in the forest. Your guide will share stories about the traditions and beliefs of the Sami people as well as the importance of the reindeer in their culture.

Course of events
- Pick-up from one of the listed locations in Rovaniemi
- Meet the reindeer at the farm
- Interact with and feed the reindeer
- Safety briefing and setting up the sled
- The reindeer sleigh ride begins!
- Return to the farm
- Enjoy hot drinks and snacks
- Transfer back to pick-up point

Please be advised that winter overalls and boots are available for rental at an additional fee.
Infant seats are available upon request.
