North of the Arctic Circle, Saariselkä is located in Finnish Lapland and is known for its incredible wilderness, diverse wildlife, and wide variety of outdoor activities. In addition, it is one of the best places in the world to view the breathtaking natural phenomenon of the Northern Lights. If you've always wanted to experience the dancing colours of the Aurora Borealis and capture them on film, this tour is for you! 

For your convenience, participants can choose between being picked up from the listed locations in Saariselkä or meeting onsite (please specify when booking). Once you've arrived, you'll be greeted by your knowledgeable guide who will give you your winter gear, including thermal overalls, boots, wool socks, a hat, a scarf, and gloves. After an itinerary briefing, the adventure begins! You and your group (a maximum of 50 people) will set out into the snowy landscapes of Finnish Lapland in search of the best spots to take in the Northern Lights. 

In total, your driver will traverse approximately 150 km (93 miles) with several stops along the way. In addition, you will be treated to a hot drink and gingerbread cookie while you relax in the tranquillity of the serene Arctic landscapes. They will also assist with any nighttime photography questions you may have so that you can capture unforgettable moments and the vivid colours of the Aurora on film. Your guide will also take photos of the excursion which will be made available to you via an online link after the excursion. After an enchanting evening, you'll return to the original departure point.
