Your adventure begins in Ylläs where participants can choose between listed pick-up points or meeting onsite. After a scenic drive to the ice-floating location, you'll be greeted by your experienced guide who will give a safety briefing, followed by an introduction to ice-floating techniques. Then, you and your group (a maximum of 15 participants) will put on your thermal and waterproof flotation suits. With your own clothing underneath, the suit will keep you warm and dry in subzero temperatures. With your hood zipped, your gloves on, and your waterproof boot covers fastened, your guide will double-check your gear and then it's time to take the plunge!
You'll glide in the freezing Arctic waters, enjoying the feeling of weightlessness and ultimate relaxation as you take in the views of the stunning snowcapped forests of Finnish Lapland. A sensation like no other! Once you've finished ice-floating, you'll get out of your gear and be treated to warm drinks and biscuits around a roaring fire in the cabin. Activity requirements
This excursion is not recommended for young children.
All children must measure at least 120 cm (3'9") to participate in this activity.
In addition, a minimum of 2 participants is required in order to run this experience.
