Your adventure begins at the meeting point in Sirkka, where you'll be greeted by your experienced guide. After a transfer to the departure point, you and your group (a maximum of 12 participants) will gear up in your thermal clothing. Then, your guide will provide a safety briefing as well as an introduction to snowmobiling techniques. Please be advised that all children aged 4-14 will be pulled behind the guide's snowmobile on a sleigh.
With your helmet on, the fun starts! You'll set off into the darkness of an Arctic forest to a remote location in Levi, far away from the city lights, in search of an ideal location to view the Northern Lights. Amidst the serenity of this breathtaking winter landscape, you'll take in the scenery while enjoying a warm beverage and snack. Don't forget to bring your camera! After a magical evening, you'll snowmobile back to the departure point and board the transfer to Sirkka with memories that will last a lifetime.

Activity requirements
The driver of a snowmobile has to be at least 18 years old and hold a valid driving license (A1, T, A or B category). Please check that it is valid in Finland.
For all snowmobile tours, all drivers are asked to either bring a physical copy of their driver's license, a photo, or a copy.
It is strictly prohibited to drive a snowmobile under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
All children aged 4-14 will be pulled on a sleigh behind the guide's snowmobile.
Special terms
Please note that as a natural phenomenon, the Northern Lights are unpredictable and their presence can never be guaranteed.
It is recommended that all participants have a light dinner before the excursion.
In addition, please specify any dietary restrictions upon booking.
All the snowmobiles are insured by traffic law for medical expenses. The snowmobile driver is held liable for any damages caused to the snowmobile. The liability damage cost has a flat rate of 900 € per person in case of an accident. For our shorter snowmobile tours (up to 3 hours duration), it is possible to purchase insurance from Wild Nordic Finland for 15 € per person (as of winter 2023), which reduces the maximum liability to 150 € per person.
