Your trip begins at the meeting point in Levi, transfers are available from specified locations upon booking. You will meet your experienced guide and receive a safety briefing for ice fishing. Children of all ages are welcome on this family-friendly excursion! From there, you and your group (a maximum of 20 participants) will travel by car into the snowy forest to a frozen lake. Then, the adventure begins!
The guide will show you how to drill a hole into the ice to gain entry to the waters below. You will set up your equipment, hook your bate and wait for a catch! The guide will go through some fishing techniques to give you the best chance, and, if you’re lucky, you may catch a fish such as Arctic char, grayling, perch, pike or trout. There is nothing more peaceful than waiting for a fish in the quiet Finnish wilderness! After the activity, your guide will build a roaring campfire and you will enjoy some hot drinks. The guide will then drive you back to your starting point in Levi.
