Introductory Canyoning at the Angon Canyon, Lake Annecy

Please allow 3 hours for the whole experience.

• Meet at the beach car park with the guide and complete participant check-in (5 minutes).
• Collect equipment: neoprene wetsuit, harness and helmet (10 minutes).
• Receive a full briefing on safety instructions and canyoning techniques.
• Walk to the canyon start point via an easy approach hike (15 to 20 minutes).
• Descend the Angon canyon for approximately 2h30, including the “Boîte aux lettres” passage, natural slides and compulsory abseils, with optional jumps.
• Exit the canyon and walk back to the starting point (10 minutes).
• Return to the car park, de-equip, debrief with the guide and conclude the activity (5 to 10 minutes).

• Learn how to progress safely in a canyon.
• Master buoyancy, movement and natural obstacles.
• Gain confidence and ease in the water.

You need to be able to swim and be in good physical condition to take part in this activity.

Minors must be accompanied by an adult.

Minimum/maximum weight: 35 kg (77lbs) - Minimum/maximum weight: 100 kg (220 lbs).

Minimum/maximum height: 135 cm.

A minimum of 4 participants is required for the activity to take place.

Please arrive 10–15 minutes before your scheduled time to park and get ready. If you are more than 15 minutes late, the guide reserves the right to treat your booking as a no-show.
