Experience unique sensations in the heart of Haute-Savoie as you discover canyoning at the Angon canyon — one of the most iconic sites in the Annecy region. Ideally located just 30 minutes from Annecy, on the shores of its famous lake, this route offers an exceptional playground where the pure waters descending from La Tournette have sculpted the rock over millennia. Moss-draped limestone walls and crystal-clear water create a strikingly wild atmosphere just a few minutes from Angon beach.
Open to anyone in good physical condition who can swim, the Angon canyon is the unmissable canyoning route for discovering the sport near Annecy. Ideal for groups of friends, solo travellers, and families with children aged 10 and above, this excursion organised by canyoning professionals offers a unique opportunity to get to grips with the sport at a gentle pace, departing from Talloires-Montmin.
During this canyoning excursion at Angon, you'll progress at the rhythm of the canyon's natural obstacles in a group limited to 10 participants. The route stands out for its particularly playful approach and varied sequence of challenges. You'll tackle the original "Boîte aux Lettres" passage — a unique natural siphon — before taking on rock-sculpted water slides and supervised rope abseils. Jumps, though memorable, are never compulsory, and your instructor will tailor their guidance to help you progress with complete confidence.
Gather your friends or loved ones and set off together to discover the fun and accessible obstacles of the Angon canyon during your stay in Haute-Savoie!
